ai went for a hike yesterday at ruffner mountain with my husband, my friend john, his dog jake, and my two boston terriers. it was perfect weather. all we needed was a light jacket. ruffner mountain is literally 4 blocks from my back yard. it is over 1000 acres of woods and over 11 miles of trails. they are building a new treetop visitor center that is coming along nicely. i snapped a few photos while there to show the progress. it will be a LEED certified gold project by KPS Group. you can see the rendering above to get a better idea of the scope of work. check out how beautiful the quarry is even in the winter!

ReplyDeleteIt looks wonderful! When Vivienne and I used to go up there we saw the blueprints for this it looks wonderful! I'm so glad its going to be finished soon. We always loved it up there.
