Recycled Content: Rubber Band Lamp

The rubber band lamp by orchard studio uses reclaimed rubber bands to create the desired look for your lamp. I like the rainbow look but think all one color would be beautiful too.  You can use your own reclaimed rubber bands for infinite ideas.  (via inhabitat)

Architecture: Fishers Island House

Fishers Island House by Thomas Phifer and Partners is as close to perfection and I can imagine.  I love the subtle skylights and gorgeous courtyard in the middle. What a beautiful site too with water and absolutely perfect landscaping.  Seeing through the house makes it seem more a part of the landscape too instead of a structure simply sitting in the middle of it. (via archdaily)

Interior: Tutti Frutti

Tutti Frutti Yogurt designed by Cohen Carnaggio Reynolds.  I was lucky enough to work on the interiors on this project and loved how it turned out.  The existing space was a Starbucks (one of the few that closed last year) and now serves as a frozen yogurt and sweet buns shop.  The children's area is quite popular complete with a tv that plays cartoons. Kartell lighting and Navy 111 chairs, that are made from recycled coke bottles, finish the space out nicely too.  Oh, and don't miss the curving glass wall.

Lighting: Catwalk

Catwalk is a modular deck and floor system that is illuminated by random patterned LED lights. What a beautiful and elegant way to light your walking path. (via at/minim.is)

Furniture: Two Leg Table

Ben Klinger and Shay Carmon designed this amazing Two Leg Table.  I love the color of the Corian top and how crisp it looks against the oak legs.   (via contemporist)

Interior: Fredensborg House

The Fredensborg House by NORM Architects is stunning.  This palette makes my minimalist heart ache and really makes me miss living in my old loft downtown with all white walls and concrete floors.  See more photos and read more about this project here.  (via contemporist)

Lighting: Aplomb

Aplomb by Lucidi and Pevere for Foscarini.  I think the gray concrete version below needs to come live in my kitchen.  I'll take two! (via dezeen)

Furniture: Tetris Sofa

Tetris Sofa by Stefano Grasselli.  My inner nerd gasped when it saw this sofa.

Recycled Content: Bike Frame Fence

I've had this bike frame fence bookmarked for some time now and everytime I click on the link it makes me smile.  I would like something playful like this around my garden or, I could see it all painted the same color to dress it up.  Either way, I think it's a very fun project indeed.  (via apartment therapy)

Interior: Library Progress

The library I've been working on is getting close to completion.  They should be moved in by the first week of November.  I got to go out yesterday and take a few photos of the progress.  There's still a lot to be done, but I think you can get an idea of where it is headed.  I can't wait to see it finished!

Lighting: Unfold

The Unfold Pendant Light by Form Us With Love.  I love all of the bright colors this fixture comes in and could see myself hanging it in the folded position just as easily as the unfolded.  (via the girl in the green dress)

Furniture: Pluto

One of my favorite NeoCon launches this year is the Pluto bench by Leland International.  I'm very patiently waiting to see one of these in person.
