DIY: Book Cover Art
esta sketch has this great diy book cover art project over at her blog. what a great, simple, piece of art for any book lover. i've turned my back room into a library/guest bedroom (when we get a bed)/NES game room. Weaver Bolden Library.
the library i helped design in tuscaloosa is coming along! it's right next to the community center we finished last year and it should be completed in august. can't wait! i'll keep you posted.

AIA Merit Award!
I got to go to the AIA local chapter awards lunch today and the Branscomb Community Center won an AIA Merit Award! I had to walk up and get the award in front of a packed room of architects. It was a little nerve racking but equally awesome! What a great project I got to work on!
Artist: Arne Quinze Camille
The city of Rouen asked him an installation to be set on the Boieldieu bridge on the occasion of the festival Rouen Impressionnée. Arne Quinze answered with a structure of remarkable scenic strength able to invite people to walk beneath and start social interaction.
