I feel very fortunate to live in a town with an amazing local art scene. Yesterday I got a piece, I was so excited about getting, from Byron Sonnier. (pictured above) Pictured are some of the founding members of the Sand Mountain church...you know, the one with snakes. I just love it! I've been to a few of Byron's openings and am floored everytime by his creations. Below are a few of my favorites. I'm still drooling over that Alabama one.
