characteristics & uses for wool:

-one of the best fibers for all fabrics
-great for carpet
-fiber weak but yarn excellent resilience
-excellent elasticity
-resistant to soil
-easily cleanable
-will burn when exposed to flame, but self extinquishing
disadvantages:
-expensive
-can be stretched (not dimensionally stable)

best for drapery, upholstery, and carpet
