Daily NCIDQ study session.

if everything goes as planned, i'll be taking the NCIDQ exam in April.  so, each day i'll post a question that will help me study for the exam.

Describe the basics of resilient tile flooring.

resilient tile flooring is easy to install because it can be put down over almost any other type flooring and requires little preparation.  it is available in patterns that imitate ceramic or natural stone and come in various sizes, although 12 inch square is most common. some resilent tiles come with adhesive backing that can be pressed into place. it is relatively inexpensive, durable, east to keep clean, waterproof, and stain resistant. other types of synthetic hard-surface tile flooring include asphalt and rubber tile.
