Finish: Felt Walls

felt on the walls. i love the idea for sound absorbtion and it's just beautiful. above right is the visitor orientation theatre at the museum of tolerance in l.a. the walls are composed of hand-stacked wool felt and gives a beautiful linear pattern. find out more about the design of the museum here via interior design magazine. above left is a wall at the central library in amsterdam via yatzer. silk and wool felt walls designed and made by Claudy Jongstra. the texture makes me want to run my hand along this wall. so gorgeous!
