i like the idea, but don't know if my heart would let me paint my original hardwoods. it's definitely nice to mask imperfections and the high gloss version is so pretty!
definitely worth doing if the floors are beyond repair. they can only be sanded and refinished so many times before they are too thin...at that point i say paint away. i like it in really old buildings with wide planks especially.
I have to say...I love it! So crisp and fresh! I suppose you could always strip the paint later (with a citrus-based stripper, of course).
