(via)i've decided to add a recycled/green/LEED/sustainable post to the weekly line up. i started last week with the recycled denim insulation. i have to say this tube light is pretty badass. the recycled fluorescent tube ligts are used to create the shade and inside is a pair of incandescent bulbs to create the warm glow of light. i love a white light with a red cord. what is it that makes it so appealing? maybe update it with compact fluorescent fixtures or leds to make it more energy efficient? thoughts?
i think this is amazing, and maybe a great diy project?
