Tehama Grasshopper

I found this wonderful warehouse conversion to loft project by Suzanne @ Inhabitat. Fougeron Architecture created this beautiful masterpiece named Tehama Grasshopper in San Francisco. I love how open, airy, and clean everything feels!

Hunter Museum of American Art

Last time I went to Chattanooga to visit the aquarium I decided to walk the city a little and enjoy the beautiful weather. What I didn't expect to find was the beautiful gem of an art museum on a cliff. There is a pedestrian only bridge where you can view the Hunter Museum of American Art designed by Randall Stout Architects and watch the boats go by.

Jonathan Adler Aorta

Jonathan Adler is my favorite potter and this is one of my favorite pottery pieces ever! I have seen them done in metallic, but the white porcelain version is forever classic to me.

Karim Rashid Loft

I had the pleasure of hearing Karim Rashid speak a few months ago. Being a designer, I could not help but wonder what his home looked like after viewing his designs. I think my imagination thought of something fairly close to this photo. You can find the whole article here. Photo by Jean Francois Jussaud.

Snee-oosh Cabin by Zero Plus Architects

“Like an insect warming itself in the sun, the Snee-oosh Cabin sits in the underbrush at the water’s edge near Deception Pass on the Swinomish Indian reservation. Eight 1-1/2” bolts support steel legs — strategically placed to preserve the old trees that reach in to the earth to support a panelized roof and a suspended “belly” that floats within the coniferous canopy.”
