Today my husband and I searched the city for a secret Banksy work that was recently done in our city. We were so excited to finally find it and was a wonderful way to spend our holiday morning. Evidently, Banksy is doing a tour of the south and hit my city on his way up from New Orleans. His work is known for being political, controversial, illegal, and of course outstanding.
wow very interesting. how do you find out where he does his work? is it almost secretive?? like little unknown statements?
ReplyDeletemy husband found it through a site he regularly goes to. i think it was a photo site. Unfortunately, one day later someone covered it completely with black spray paint. i feel very fortunate that i saw it before it was gone.
