My friend Walt Creel is an amazing artist. He is the emerging artist at this years Magic City Art Connection which takes place this weekend April 25th-27th. His series of work "Deweaponizing the gun" creates art by shooting .22 caliber bullets into sheets of painted aluminum to create a pointillism effect with bullet holes and chipped paint. Here are a few of my favorite pieces from this series....beautiful!
