i love the reuse of shipping containers. do you remember the children's center i posted forever ago? well, the cordell house is amazing. i could live here in a heartbeat. it's built from three 40 ft units and one 20 ft unit. pretty awesome.

here's a little alabama treasure for you. my first design job out of school was at a furniture dealer that specialized in german and danish import furniture. one collection was one of our lines and i was so excited that they carried finn juhl. these two sofas are new release reissues of some of finn's finest work. want the wood base baker sofa sooo badly. below is the wall sofa which is gorgeous too. my lovely friend chatham opened a jewelry store named charm downtown birmingham last week. she's fabulous, the store is amazing and i'm so excited to share the news with my readers! she did all of the decor herself! all of these photos are from the grand opening and are from their charm's facebook page. (become their friend here.) chatham hand makes the jewelry herself, but there are also handbags, scarves, sunglasses, and accessories available. i got a rocking handbag for myself.
