I love this recycled bunt pan into a hanging pot.  I think I have one this color that I never use.  The thrift stores are filled with these long loved and no longer used bunt pans too.

My Favorite Part: Craig & Erin

When the sun hits the kitchen window it also turns our green wall day-glo green and it gets all california pet sounds in here for about an hour.

I also love the William Eggleston photos and Mr. Sun ceramic we bought in Sicily that hangs in our kitchen...

...and the blue wall and the piano, of course...

But the porch is my favorite because the weather is the best part of LA & the porch makes a great chalk board.

Accessory: Fake Taxidermy

I've never been a fan of animal heads on walls, hunting, nor the killing of things in general.  My grandparents used to have animal heads adorning their walls in their farm house in Wisconsin and I'd stare at their fake glass eyes as a child and feel sad.  But, I have to say these fake taxidermy pieces bring a lot of joy to me.  I especially love the moose head that lights up and the steel bear head.  You might have seen Susan Shoemaker's moose head HERE that was so beautiful too.  (above/below)
