did anyone else think the fellowship of the sun church in true blood was some fine architecture? i love the crazy roof lines and the interior is amazing. see more pictures of the real church here.
You might think it's the Rose Hills place, but I am from Ft Worth, TX & think it's the Marty Leonard Chapel, which is part of the Lena Pope Home in Ft. Worth. Just discovered it's done by the same architect. They're both beautiful. I hoped that since all the vamps were in Dallas, that the Fellowship of the Sun church was actually the chapel in Ft Worth! Here's the site - http://www.lenapopehome.org/About-Us/Marty_Leonard_Community_Chapel/Marty_Leonard_Chapel.aspx

ReplyDeleteWhen I saw it, I thought it was Lena Pope as well.
ReplyDeleteBut on IMDB, there are no filming locations for Fort Worth. Had to be the Rose Hills in CA.
ReplyDeleteThe key is to look at the bottom of the building. SkyRose sits on top of a mausoleum which is visible under the chapel.
