Interior: RI Offices
The interior of this office makes me smile. The colors, the materials, the patterns, and the overall feel of the space works. RI Offices was designed by arquitectura x to be a flexible, adaptable, and expandable space for this publicity agency. (via archdaily)

Lighting: Flap
With all of the choices out there, you'd think finding a modern sconce would be easy. Well, I can tell you first hand that it is not. Foscarini is one of my favorite lighting lines and they have added a new sconce that I think is pretty badass. Flap comes in 3 shapes and two finishes though I'm partial to the white.
Furniture: Strand Console Table
I've been looking for a modern console table...a statement piece. I think I've found just that in the Arktura Strand console table.

Interior: Client House
(living room)
I got a phone call from my boss on Friday asking if I could meet a client at their new house on Saturday. And then I heard the magic words "they want it to be modern". I was giddy. Then, I got to the house and was blown away. The house definitely is traditional and transitional at parts, but to pair it with modern is going to be awesome. Here are some before shots.

How would you like this view? The owner told me it's a sunset view too. Sigh.

Lighting: Rhyme & Reason
Mary Huang designed these beautiful dresses as part of her Rhyme & Reason collection. LEDs are embedded into each garment by using a custom wiring system that gives an invisible finish.

Architecture: Maison Couturier
I love finding new inspiring sites. Last week I stumbled across Devote and found this amazing hotel. Maison Couturier is located in Veracruz, Mexico, was built by French immigrants in the 19th century, and is a beautiful tropical getaway. I am so in love with this hotel and could live pool side.

Interior: Weaver Bolden Library
Here are just a few snapshots I took at the grand opening of the Weaver Bolden Library. This was designed by Cohen Carnaggio Reynolds and is in Tuscaloosa, Alabama (home of the University of Alabama's Crimson Tide) It's officially open and I'm officially excited. I can't wait to see professional shots.
Library Update
I'm on my way to the grand opening of the Weaver Bolden Library. I've been working on this project for 2-1/2 years and am so excited to see it finished. I'll be sure to post some photos from the opening if I get some good shots, but will most definitely post photos when we get professional photography done. Yay! I love seeing my projects come to life. The photo above was taken over a month ago.
