Accessory: Felt pillows from Made Design

While I was at IIDEX last week I took pictures of a few of my favorite finds. Made Design has a line of layered felt pillows that are beautiful. I love the egg shaped and round cut outs and the little embroidered ants crawling on the pillows. So sweet!

Interior: Villa in Positano

I so love this villa renovated by Roman architects Claudio Lazzarini and Carl Pickering. The stark white mixed with the wonderful patterns really add fun and dimension. To find out more info on this villa in Postiano go to Yatzer and read more about the architects here.

Lighting: Kurage 3 by schemata

"Kurage is composed of optical fiber. By bending the optical fiber, the whole area is illuminated outside of the immediate area of the light, and together, they can make very soft light. The brightness can be adjusted by the size of the curve." Can you say awesome?!

Furniture: Inscape

Inscape is a wonderful company and after spending 3 days in Toronto with them I love them even more. They have launched new product that was on display at IIDEX/Neocon. Their lines are clean, modern, and storage and functionality are the main factors that make this line superior. They also have a filing line and modular wall system that I will use on soon to come projects.

Finish: Dwell Studio Drapery Fabrics

Dwell Studio has a new line of fabrics that are amazing window treatments. They seem to be targeting kids with some of the fabrics, but I feel these would be equally as cute anywhere in my house. They are fun, bold, interesting patterns and I love them.

Interior: Hotel Le Germain, Toronto

I am staying at the Hotel Le Germain while in Toronto this week. In doing my research into this hotel I realized how cool it actually is going to be. First, it is located in the middle of downtown, walking distance if we decide to go out after dinner. Second, the decor is absolutely gorgeous. I actually want to live in the library. Really. Third, there is a roof top putting green?! Plus, they have a spa and an awesome restaurant/bar located inside the hotel. Do I have to leave?

Toronto Bound!

I'm off to Toronto for IIDEX where I will do a few furniture showroom tours, see what's new and fun in the world of design and visit a city I have always wanted to. I have some posts lined up while I am out so keep stopping by. I hope to have lots of pictures upon my return.

Accessory: Octahedron Bud Vases

I love these Japanese Octahedron Vases from Canoe. Their interesting shape, fun finishes and scale make them so appealing. I feel like I need a few of these around with a cool fall branch or bloom in each.

Architecture: Summerhouse

UK architects Ullmayer Sylvester designed the plywood-and-pine Summerhouse at the rear of an elongated Victorian garden in North London; the budget was £35,000. The light-filled structure functions as an artist studio, garden shed, table tennis venue, and kids’ hangout; an 8-meter-long swath of mirror foil installed along the doglegged north side elevation reflects the foliage and helps the structure disappear into the landscape; the polycarbonate ceiling panels filter light from above.

Lighting: Evolute Pendant

The Evolute pendant lamp was designed by Metali Crasset for Danese Milano, Italy. It is made from maple wood and is 22" in diameter. I heart it so! (via nova68)

Furniture: Record Cabinet from Atocha Design

I love records and if you have a collection of your own you will understand the hardships of finding good storage for records. Atocha Design has put out this amazing record cabinet. Each cabinet is custom built and is available in a number of woods. It can also be built to accomodate singles, CD's, DVD's, or components.
